El calor del verano ha llegado a Barcelona y en la residencia universitaria MelonDistrict lo celebramos con una divertida fiesta en nuestro popular Refreshing Lounge.

El Refreshing Lounge, ubicado en la ultima planta de MelonDistrict Poble Sec, es un espacio que los estudiantes pueden disfrutar al aire libre y hacer uso del solarium y la piscina durante estos meses de clima caluroso.

La fiesta del verano, celebrada el pasado 27 de junio, reunió una excelente selección musical, bebidas refrescantes, deliciosos aperitivos y una compañía inmejorable. Y para muestra les dejamos algunas imágenes del evento compartido por los integrantes de nuestra residencia universitaria.

CELEBRATING THE COMING OF SUMMER

The summer heat has finally arrived in Barcelona and we celebrated by throwing a fun party at the MelonDistrict residence at our popular “Refreshing Lounge”.

The Refreshing Lounge, located on the top floor of MelonDistrict Poble Sec, is a place where students can enjoy the open air and make use of the sundeck and the pool during these hot months.

The summer party, which took place on June 27th, brought together excellent music, refreshing beverages, delicious appetizers, and great company. For proof, check out some photos of the event!

The English magazine Design Week had MelonDistrict on its INTERIORS cover issue for Spring/Summer 2008.
Due to its distinguishing design, in terms of student residences, MelonDistrict in the INTERIORS section is described as “authentic” and “pure.”

“WITH ITS ROOFTOP TERRACE, SWIMMING POOL AND ULTRA-SPACIOUS LIVING QUARTERS, MELON DISTRICT IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL STUDENT ACCOMMODATION BY A LONG WAY” comments Dominic Luyents in the article.

Without a doubt, MelonDistrict is a different type of student residence, but it remains “a place to live.”

MELONDISTRICT EN LA PORTADA DE DESIGN WEEK

La revista inglesa Design Week en su número especial INTERIORS de Primavera/Verano 2008 incluyó a MelonDistrict en su portada.

Debido a su diseño diferenciador, en cuanto a residencias de estudiantes se refiere, MelonDistrict es reconocido en las páginas de INTERIORS como “auténtico” y “puro”.

Comodynes al ser una marca dirigida a los jóvenes realizó en el mes de junio, junto con la Residencia MelonDistrict, una acción de sampling con su kit exclusivo “Tienes una cita”.

Since Comodynes is a brand geared towards young people, free product samples were handed out through the MelonDistrict Residence in an exclusive kit called “Tienes una cita” in June.
